Privacy Notice

Last updated: December 30, 2025

This Privacy Notice explains how Optidata (“Optidata”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with Optiwork Import (the “App”), a tool used to migrate files, folders and mailboxes from Google (Google Workspace and personal Google accounts) and Microsoft 365 into Optiwork Drive.

1. Information we access

When you authorize a personal Google account for migration, the App requests the following Google scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly — read-only access to the files and folders in your Google Drive, used to copy them into Optiwork Drive.
  • openid and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — to identify the authorizing account by its email address and stable account identifier.

We request read-only Drive access. We never modify or delete content in your Google Drive.

2. How we use the information

Google user data accessed through the App is used solely to perform the migration you requested — that is, to read your Google Drive files and folders and copy them into the designated Optiwork Drive. We use the account email and identifier only to identify the source account and create or match the corresponding Optiwork user and home folder.

3. Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure

The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the migration service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, and we do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your consent for specific items, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. Storage and retention

The OAuth credential (refresh token) that authorizes access is stored encrypted and is used only to perform migrations for the connected account. File contents are streamed during the migration and are not retained by the App beyond what is necessary to complete the transfer into Optiwork Drive. You can revoke the App's access at any time from your Google Account permissions; doing so prevents any further access by the App.

5. Sharing

We do not sell Google user data. We share information only with infrastructure and service providers strictly necessary to operate the migration service, and where required by law.

6. Security

We employ administrative, technical and organizational measures (aligned with SOC 2 practices) to protect the data we handle, including encryption of stored credentials and secure transport of content.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and LGPD), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
